RE: Pro-Reform Candidates Claim Victory in Missouri Primary
In Tuesday’s primary, StudentsFirst Missouri supported a group of six bipartisan candidates, all of whom will advance to the November general election.
Wins on both sides of the aisle underscore the fact that reform-minded leaders will be supported at the polls when running on their commitment to providing a high quality education.
Missourians respond strongly to candidates’ pro-reform message and turned out for leaders who have made a commitment to our kids. As the conversation around education reform continues in Missouri, StudentsFirst and our nearly 30,000 members will continue to support policies and candidates who put students first.
Following are the pro-reform candidates endorsed by StudentsFirst Missouri in Tuesday’s primary:
• Rep. Kurt Bahr • Sen. Dan Brown • Rep. Penny Hubbard • Rep. Mike Moon • Rep. Holly Rehder • Rebecca Roeber
