Statement from Speaker Tim Jones on Michael Brown Shooting
“My thoughts and prayers are with the family of Michael Brown and with the entire community of Ferguson during this trying time. This tragic loss has caused a great deal of pain. Everyone deserves a clear picture of what led to this situation, and I am hopeful that the local and federal investigations will produce a transparent, complete picture of all the facts that led to this tragedy. I stand ready, willing and able to lend whatever assistance I can to the community and to my many family members, friends and colleagues in and around the Ferguson community.”
