McCaskill: Centene Announcement a ‘stabilizing lifeline’ for Ferguson Businesses
ST. LOUIS – U.S. Senator Claire McCaskill today released the following statement on Centene’s announcement of a new claims processing center creating up to 200 jobs in Ferguson, Mo.:
“This important development will be a stabilizing lifeline for the many small businesses that were affected in Ferguson due to the unrest last month. I’m especially proud that Centene will begin hiring before the end of the year, and that these jobs, after a year, will also be coupled with tuition reimbursement for higher education.”
The new claims processing center in Ferguson is estimated to create 150-200 full-time jobs with benefits. After one year, Centene will also offer eligible employees tuition reimbursement.
