Higginsville Mayor Bill Kolas Elected President of Missouri Municipal League
JEFFERSON CITY, Mo. – The Missouri Municipal League elected Higginsville Mayor Bill Kolas as President at MML’s annual conference Sept. 16 in St. Charles, Mo.
Mayor Kolas was elected to the League’s Board of Directors in 2009 and has served as Chairman of the Natural Resources and Urban Development Committee. He is a member of the MML Resolutions Committee. Mayor Kolas has also earned the prestigious designation of Certified Municipal Official from the Missouri Municipal League’s Municipal Governance Institute.
