Missouri State Fair Revs Up for Motorsports Action
Lucas Oil ASCS Sprint Car National Tour Series Among List of Motorsport Events
(SEDALIA, Mo.) – The 2015 Missouri State Fair is revving up for a great variety of motorsports action in the Pepsi Grandstand including the High Roller Classic Lucas Oil ASCS Sprint Car National Tour Series, closing out the Fair on Sunday, Aug. 23.
“I am excited to hear the roar of the engines on the final night of the 2015 Fair,” Fair Director Mark Wolfe said. “Race fans are in for a great night of racing with this sprint car series, which will feature a $12,000 to win sprint car race.”
Hot laps will start at 6 p.m. on Aug. 23 with heat races starting at 7 p.m. Tickets for the race are reserve seating and are $20 for adults, $18 for military and seniors (age 65 and older), $10 for students ages 13-16, $8 for youth ages 8-12 and free for kids ages 7 and under.
The Pepsi Grandstand will also feature the Missouri Association Championship Truck and Tractor Pull with qualifying events at 10 a.m. and 7 p.m. on Sunday, Aug. 16 and the finals at 1 p.m. and 7 p.m. on Monday, Aug. 17. Tickets for 10 a.m. and 1 p.m. pulls are $12 for adults and $5 for youth ages 6-12. Tickets for the 7 p.m. pulls are $15 for adults and $6 for youth ages 6-12. A special all-day ticket is available for $20 and $9 each day.

Tickets for the auto races and the tractor pulls may be purchased starting June 22 from ticketmaster.com or the Missouri State Fair Box Office, which is open weekdays from noon to 6 p.m. through Aug. 7 and then from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Aug. 10–12 and from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. during the Fair, Aug. 13–23.
