Missouri Chamber to honor Cerner with 2015 Champion of Enterprise Award

 

JEFFERSON CITY – The Missouri Chamber of Commerce and Industry will recognize Cerner, a global leader in health care technology, as the 2015 Missouri Chamber Champion of Enterprise. The award will be presented at the 2015 Missouri Chamber Annual Meeting at the Intercontinental Kansas City at the Plaza on Nov. 19, 2015.

The Champion of Enterprise Award is the highest honor the Missouri Chamber issues each year.

“This award recognizes Missouri employers that have demonstrated a true enterprising spirit and have made a significant contribution to our state through the years,” said Missouri Chamber President and CEO Daniel P. Mehan. “Cerner, celebrating its 36th year in business, is one of the youngest companies to have received the Champion of Enterprise award. Although a relatively young company, the Kansas City-based firm is a significant economic force in the state and internationally. Cerner is expected to add more than 16,000 new jobs in the next 10 years.”
