Dear Residents of the 31st Senatorial District:
Senator Ed Emery has been having some health issues this past summer, but these have not kept him from attending events, meeting with constituents and expanding his knowledge on important issues by attending conferences. This past week he has been having mini strokes that led to the decision of having a heart valve replacement. He is in Joplin for surgery today, and his family requests your prayers for a speedy recovery!
During his absence we would like you to know that Senator Emery’s office is still open. Josh Foster who serves as the Senator’s Chief of Staff and Rose Granich who serves as the Senator’s Administrative Assistant are committed to helping constituents during Ed’s recovery! If there is an issue relating to the State or maybe an event that you would like a spokesperson to attend please do not hesitate to call the office. Senator Emery will continue to be informed of any issues that need his knowledge.
