Auditor Galloway announces new Deputy State Auditor Keri Wright

Current Deputy State Auditor Luetkemeyer to retire in December

JEFFERSON CITY, MO (Nov. 19, 2015) Missouri State Auditor Nicole Galloway today announced Keri Wright as the new Deputy State Auditor. Wright, a certified public accountant, has worked in the State Auditor’s Office for nearly 15 years, most recently as an audit manager.

“Keri’s experience, professionalism and leadership are an asset to this office and the citizens we serve, and I appreciate her taking on these new responsibilities,” Galloway said. “Working alongside the dedicated men and women of the State Auditor’s Office, I am confident Keri will help us continue our mission to promote transparency and efficiency at all levels of government.”

Wright joined the State Auditor’s Office in 2001 as a staff auditor. She has served under four previous state auditors, and advanced to her most recent position as audit manager in 2008. Wright holds a Master of Business Administration from William Woods University, and a bachelor’s degree from the University of Central Missouri.

Wright will take over for current Deputy State Auditor John Luetkemeyer, who is retiring after 34 years at the State Auditor’s Office.

“I want to thank John Luetkemeyer for his many years of service to the state,” Galloway said. “John has dedicated his career to serving the people of Missouri and has tirelessly worked to identify government waste, fraud and abuse across the state. I congratulate him on a well-deserved retirement.”

Wright will assume her new role effective December 15.
