Gov. Jay Nixon joined five former Missouri governors including Christopher “Kit” Bond, John Ashcroft, Roger Wilson, Bob Holden and Matt Blunt, in Kansas City today (Nov. 20) for a panel discussion on economic development.
The panel was moderated by Missouri Department of Economic Development Director Mike Downing and sponsored by the Hawthorn Foundation, the private nonprofit organization created in 1982 by then-Governor Kit Bond to facilitate business recruitment, retention and development efforts.
