The conservative candidate for Attorney General, Josh Hawley, today issued the following statement regarding the passing of Supreme Court Justice Antonin Scalia.
“Justice Scalia was the greatest Supreme Court Justice of our lifetimes. No Justice has been a more ardent and persuasive defender of the Constitution as the framers wrote it. He inspired a generation of constitutional lawyers, including me. Those lawyers, those constitutionalists, are his legacy. And I for one intend to honor his memory by continuing to stand for the founding principles he so ably defended.”
