Release: Hanaway Congratulates Law Enforcement on Capture of Dangerous Illegal Alien

Hanaway Calls for Action Against Illegal Immigration
St. Louis – Former federal prosecutor and gubernatorial candidate Catherine Hanaway congratulated the Missouri State Highway Patrol, the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office, and law enforcement officers across the state on the successful capture of fugitive and illegal alien Pablo Antonio Serrano-Vitorino.

“The brave men and women of law enforcement have once again made our state proud, bringing this highly dangerous murderer to justice,” Hanaway said. “The fact that Serrano-Vitorino had been deported from the United States before re-entering illegally highlights the importance of cracking down on illegal immigration. We must strengthen law enforcement’s ability to keep dangerous illegal immigrants out of our state and continue to fight against any attempt by the federal government to bring refugees from terrorist regions to Missouri.”

Wanted for at least five murders, Serrano-Vitorino was the subject of a state-wide, 17-hour manhunt and was captured in the early hours of this morning in Montgomery County.
