My opponents are scared. They’re running false negative attack ads against me. I refuse to get in the mud with them. I won’t sink to their level. Instead, I will continue to spread my vision as to how we make Missouri Safe and Strong. We released another TV ad this morning. The ad highlights my efforts to pass Concealed Carry and touts my endorsement from Missouri Right to Life and my “A” rating from the NRA. When I was Speaker of the House, I persuaded 18 Democrats to override then-Governor Bob Holden’s veto to make Concealed Carry law in Missouri. I’ve been a vocal advocate for Constitutional Carry and Stand Your Ground legislation since their introduction and have done everything possible to aid in the override process for SB 656. I’ve stood up to corruption and as a former federal prosecutor, I’ve prosecuted corrupt politicians. As Governor, I will stand up to corruption in Jefferson City. |
