RELEASE: Chris Koster Endorsed by the Missouri Pork Association

St. Louis – Today, the Missouri Pork Association announced their endorsement of Chris Koster’s campaign for governor. The association represents thousands of Missourians working in the pork industry, from large commercial operations to small family farms.

Attorney General Koster delivered the following statement regarding the endorsement:

“I am proud and deeply honored to receive the endorsement from Missouri’s pork producers. The Missouri Pork Association is an outstanding advocate for our state’s pork industry and a leader in the promotion of agriculture. Together, we will continue to grow Missouri’s number one industry, and create more good paying jobs in rural towns across our state.”

Attorney General Koster has a proven record of fighting for Missouri’s rural communities. He has fought federal regulators from dictating how Missouri’s farmers can use their land, helped lead the fight for Missouri’s Right-to-Farm amendment, and worked to expand biofuel production and deliver it to untapped markets around the globe.

The Missouri Pork Association joins a growing list of agriculture groups supporting Chris’ campaign. In the last few weeks, Chris has picked up endorsements from the Missouri Farm Bureau, Corn Growers Association, Soybean Association, and Cattlemen’s Association.
