Release: AFP-MO Drops Six-Figure Digital Ad Buy: “Kander’s Flood of Obamacare Lies”

The digital ad buy compliments a new mail ad focusing on Kander’s support for Obamacare

JEFFERSON CITY, Mo. — Americans for Prosperity – Missouri (AFP-MO), the leading grassroots organization opposing Jason Kander for U.S. Senate, released two new ads today educating Missouri voters about Jason Kander’s position on Obamacare. Each ad outlines the rising costs Missouri families face as a result of Obamacare and Jason Kander’s votes to protect the law.

The digital ad features a montage of President Obama, Secretary Clinton and Minority Leader Harry Reid repeating the lie that Americans could keep their healthcare plan under Obamacare. The narrator states:

“Where does Jason Kander stand on Obamacare’s failures? Obamacare has flooded us with lie after lie. And Jason Kander voted again and again to support or expand Obamacare. Jason Kander will make the Obamacare disaster worse – higher costs, lost coverage, lost doctors.”

AFP-MO state director, Jeremy Cady, states:

There’s no doubt Missouri’s U.S. Senate election will play a central role in deciding who controls the federal government next year – and thus the policy agenda for our country. This is especially true with Obamacare. The choice we make on November 8 may even determine the law’s future.

“What’s plain to those of us living under the burdens of the healthcare law is this: Obamacare is on the brink of collapse. The last thing we need is another candidate trying to salvage the failing law. Yet that’s what Kander will do if elected. His party is already planning to bail out the law with billions more taxpayer dollars – a plan opposed by a large majority of Americans.

“We need a proven leader who will repeal Obamacare and fight further government intervention in our health care. That’s precisely why Americans for Prosperity-Missouri is doubling down on Kander’s inexplicable support for the law through digital ads, direct mail, and contact with over 1.5 million Missouri voters.”
