Release: Office of Administration announces appointments to Missouri Citizens’ Commission on Compensation for Elected Officials


JEFFERSON CITY – The Office of Administration today announced the appointments to the Missouri Citizens’ Commission on Compensation for Elected Officials. The commission, compiled of 19 appointees from across the state, establishes the compensation of state officials, members of the General Assembly and judges (excluding municipal judges).

On Wednesday, November 9, 2016 Governor Nixon announced his appointees. That list can be found online.

 

The commission is charged with conducting public hearings and then issuing its salary compensation report to the Secretary of State and Revisor of Statutes by December 1, 2016. The locations of the public hearings are:

 

            Tuesday, November 15, 2016 – 1:00 pm Public Testimony
