Greitens launches transition website

JEFFERSON CITY, Mo. — Gov.-elect Eric Greitens has officially launched a website for his transition onto the second floor of the Capitol.

Govelect.mo.gov serves as a point for anyone interested in joining the Greitens administration to submit their resumes and cover letters for a chance to serve in the new executive branch next year. On the trail, Greitens spoke often about creating a team of outsiders that would change the culture of Jefferson City.

“What we have earned is something sacred: the privilege to serve,” a quote from Greitens says on the site. “We are looking for the best and the brightest to join our mission to create more jobs, higher pay, safer streets and better schools for all Missourians.”

Greitens also announced that his campaign manager during the election, Austin Chambers, will lead his transition team. More members of the transition team will be released in the coming days.
