Media Advisory: Supreme Court of Missouri to hold oral arguments May 21

  

The Supreme Court of Missouri has scheduled one docket of cases for oral

argument Wednesday May 21 to begin at 9:30 a.m.

 

The May 21 docket includes five cases:

 

*SC93719, Daniel B. Nickell v. Michael F. Shanahan Sr., et al., an

appeal originating in St. Louis city regarding the fiduciary duty to a

corporation’s shareholders.

*SC93846, State ex rel. Todd Hewitt v. Honorable Kristine Kerr, Judge,

Circuit Court for St. Louis County, Missouri, a proceeding originating

in St. Louis County regarding a challenge to a motion to compel

arbitration.

*SC93848, Missouri Bankers Association, Inc., and Jonesburg State Bank

v. St. Louis County, Missouri, and Charlie A. Dooley, a proceeding

originating in St. Louis County regarding a challenge to a county

mediation program.

*SC93937, State of Missouri v. Linda L. Gargus, an appeal originating in

Clark County regarding a challenge to an elder abuse conviction.

*SC93698, John T. Impey v. Missouri Ethics Commission, et al., a

proceeding originating in Cole County regarding a challenge to a fine on

campaign materials.
