Branson Mayor Raeanne Presley Elected Vice President of Missouri Municipal League

JEFFERSON CITY, Mo. – The Missouri Municipal League elected Branson Mayor Raeanne Presley as Vice President at MML’s annual conference Sept. 16 in St. Charles, Mo.

Elected in April 2007, Raeanne Presley is serving her fourth term as Branson’s mayor. She is co-owner of Presley’s Country Jubilee Theater, which was the first music theater to open on the world famous Highway 76 “strip” and Branson Visitor TV.

Ms. Presley has more than 40 years of experience in the travel industry and is a past chairman of the Missouri Tourism Commission. She is active in the Branson community having served on the Branson Board of Aldermen, on the Skaggs Community Health Center Board of Directors, the Springfield / Branson Airport Board and numerous other civic boards. In 2012, she was appointed to the National League of Cities’ Energy, Environment and Natural Resources Steering Committee.

She was elected to the MML Board of Directors in 2011 and has served on the Resolutions Committee. Mayor Presley has also earned the prestigious designation of Certified Municipal Official from the Missouri Municipal League’s Municipal Governance Institute.

She and her husband Steve have three children who work and perform at the Presley Theater.
