JEFFERSON CITY, Mo. – The Missouri Public Service Commission met today to approve 5 new orders and discuss 5 cases at their regularly scheduled agenda meeting. The meeting was lighter than normal, featuring a few jokes made my commissioners.
Recent past agenda meetings have announced the hiring of new employees, including judges and staff. Today, Whitney Payne, who previously served as deputy at the Missouri Supreme Court Communications Counsel, was announced and introduced to be joining PSC Staff.
Orders were approved regarding cases with Missouri Gas Energy, Union Electric, KCP&L Greater Missouri Operations, and Peaceful Valley Service Company. A motion to dismiss a complaint was granted against Kansas City Power & Light.
The next agenda meeting will be Wednesday, October 15. The PSC will be hosting a symposium at University of Missouri – St. Louis on October 17 that will provide free CLE credits.
