Political Consulting Firm Honored with Awards for Excellence in Strategy and Creativity
Axiom Strategies received two Reed Awards in Las Vegas this past weekend, continuing to demonstrate a dedication to high quality service and upholding its reputation as one of the most award-winning Republican direct mail firms in the country.
The Reed Awards recognize excellence in campaign management, political consulting and political communications. The awards, named after Campaigns & Elections founder Stanley Foster Reed, embody his mission to strive for excellence in political campaigning.

- Best Mail Piece for Ballot Initiative – Tale of Tax Hikes
- Best Use of Voice Over Talent – “Underwood – Orman” (Now or Never PAC)
Tale of Tax Hikes, a storybook narrative of the City of Columbia’s Proposition 2, played a critical role in defeating a tax increase which would have raised the town’s cost of living in Columbia, Missouri. Prop 2 would have created a new tax on construction and development throughout the city’s limits, making it more expensive to build new homes, schools, and office buildings. The measure was soundly defeated by over 55% of the city’s voters.
The “Underwood – Orman” piece was a ground-breaking radio advertisement that used a voiceover of Frank Underwood from Netflix’s award-winning political drama House of Cards. The piece was so noteworthy that it was featured by National Journalshortly before the election. The ad helped with Senator Pat Roberts’ comeback win in Kansas. Axiom Strategies won the award alongside media strategist Bob Honold.
