Monarch Fire District Candidate Kelley Miller Calls on Board President Robin Harris to Apologize for Rhetoric that Caused Dangerous Situation

Concerned Citizen Kelley Miller promises a new day for Monarch District if elected

  1. LOUIS, Mo – Monarch Fire Board candidate Kelley Miller is calling on Monarch Fire Board President Robin Harris to apologize to the citizens of the Monarch Fire District for irresponsible rhetoric that led to a dangerous situation at the scene of a house fire in Chesterfield earlier this week. A vocal campaign supporter of Harris’ was reported to local police for obstructing and yelling obscenities at fire fighters at the scene of a fire they were actively working to control on March 31. The report was filed with the Chesterfield Police Department and the report number is 15-1887.

“Robin Harris has continually used irresponsible rhetoric to attack our firefighters in an attempt to win an election,” Miller said. “Now we’ve seen his rhetoric lead to a dangerous situation as one of his prominent campaign supporters obstructed firefighters as they worked to put out a house fire. The people of the Monarch Fire District deserve leaders committed to service and integrity, not bickering and petty politics. Robin Harris’ continual games at the Fire Board have cost the taxpayers over a million dollars in legal fees during his tenure and now their antics are making our families less safe. It’s time for new leadership.”

Kelley Miller is a human resource professional, a mom, and a concerned citizen who got involved in the Monarch Fire District after seeing the fiscal mess Harris created during his tenure.
