Lt. Governor Peter Kinder Files Quarterly Finance Report
Friends of Peter Kinder filed its July quarterly report today with the Missouri Ethics Commission. Included in this report is an addendum stating: “The Money On Hand reflects the actual bank statements of the Committee as of the date of this filing. Previous reports will be reviewed and, if necessary, will be amended.”
Upon learning of a potential discrepancy between this filing and previous filings, the Lt. Governor immediately directed his campaign to conduct an internal review of all necessary records. If there is a need to amend previous reports, those amendments will be filed expeditiously. The Lt. Governor instructed his campaign to inform the Missouri Ethics Commission of these developments, and the MEC has been notified.
