FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE:

Lt. Governor Peter Kinder calls today for each of his fellow statewide officials to join him in condemnation of Planned Parenthood following the emerging reports regarding the brutal harvesting and sale of human body parts.

“This behavior is both sickening and unacceptable. Throughout my time in office I have fought tirelessly against Planned Parenthood and for the rights of the unborn. It is imperative that the leaders of Missouri protect the most vulnerable in our society and that above all else we respect the dignity of every human life.”

In 1997 as a State Senator, Kinder led the effort to ban partial-birth abortion in Missouri, making illegal the reprehensible practice that can lead to the trafficking of the remains of our most innocent. In 1999, Kinder was awarded the Defender of Life award by Missouri Right to Life, their highest honor.
