Axiom Strategies Continues Strategic Growth

Rob Phillips, Chris Grant and Matt Langston Join Consulting Firm

(KANSAS CITY) Axiom Strategies announces today the addition of a Chief Operating Officer, Rob Phillips and two talented political consultants as Vice Presidents, Chris Grant and Matt Langston.  Chris, from the northeast, and Matt, from the south, represent important strategic regions of the country for the company.

Rob Phillips specializes in corporate growth, operational excellence and financial management.  With twenty five years of building both for profit and non-profit organizations, Rob has presided over and assisted other companies prior to Axiom Strategies as a C-level executive, including President of one of the largest political media firms in the U.S.
Rob began his career in the technology consulting industry and assisted his partners in growing the firm to over 300 employees to be acquired by Computer Associates.  From there Rob spent many years with operations consulting for private equity and boutique consulting firms to include mergers, acquisitions and growth strategies.  Rob has worked in New York City and Miami Florida for top tier firms, including a national PR firm.

Christopher Grant resides in Washington D.C. with significant ties to New York and the northeast having served as Chief of Staff for New York Congressman Chris Collins for over eight years. Chris brings an extensive background in local, state, and federal policy and political experience to the firm.  In addition, in the Erie County Executive’s office, Chris oversaw the policy, legislative, communication offices and was responsible for directing several other county agencies and departments.

“Not only has Chris Grant been a tremendous Chief of Staff for both my Congressional and County Executive offices, but he has demonstrated himself as one of the top political minds in the country,” said Congressman Collins.  “We have worked closely over the last ten years, and while I am very sorry to see him move on, I recognize that this is a terrific opportunity.”

Matt Langston has extensive experience with political campaigns and grassroots politics from Texas to Florida, most recently serving as the Chief of Staff for Texas State Senator Don Huffines. He also managed Senator Huffines’ historic defeat of a 24 year incumbent John Carona in North Dallas.

“Matt’s work has helped to elect and defend many conservative Leaders.  His calm focused insights are unmatched in today’s political world.  He has guided many candidates through the rigors of a campaign to victory,” said Senator Don Huffines. “He is not afraid of hard-hitting fights.  He actively organized grassroots and voters to propel victory.  Matt is the best new, leading political consultant in Texas and across the country.”

Chris and Matt bring local, regional and national political experience and client relationships to the firm.  Axiom Strategies will be moving their Washington DC office and relocating the Dallas office to Austin to accommodate both Chris and Matt. “This couldn’t have come at a more important time for Axiom Strategies as we continue to provide winning strategies for our political and corporate clients across the country.  Axiom Strategies is preparing to embark on its most important year in the history of the company as it provides leadership during this historic 2016 GOP election cycle”, said Rob Phillips, COO.
