Fire Department & State Representative Joshua Peters Team Up For Bike Give Away To Deserving Students

 

St. Louis, MO – State Representative Joshua Peters and the St. Louis Fire Department will be

presenting a deserving student, at each of the six elementary schools in the 76th State

Representative District, a band new bike. On Thursday December 17th Representative Peters and

Firefighters will attend assemblies at Confluence Aspire Academy, Walbridge School, Earl Nance Sr.

Elementary School, Ashland Elementary, Herzog Elementary, and Lexington Elementary to recognize

a deserving student selected by his or her principal. The student will be given a certificate

acknowledging their achievement and told about the prize they have won.

 

A press opportunity for photos or film coverage for area media has been arranged for the

presentation at Ashland Elementary at 11:30 AM on Thursday. The school is located at 3921 North

Newstead, Louis, MO 63115.

 

On Friday, December 18th, Representative Peters and Firefighters will deliver to each student’s home

their prize of a brand new bicycle. They will also install free smoke detectors in home’s on that

student’s street that need them.

 

“It is vitally important that we provide positive incentives for student achievement and recognize those

students who work hard. I am proud to help sponsor this event and to work in cooperation with the

brave men and women of the St. Louis Fire Department who always go above and beyond to help the

community they serve,” said Representative Peters.
