JEFFERSON CITY, Mo. – Mid-Missouri anti-abortion advocates will return to the Capitol building on Tuesday for their “Happy Birthday, Jesus” Christmas program, which takes place in the rotunda from noon to 3:00 p.m.
The program will feature caroling, hymns, prayer, and a nativity scene.
All are welcome to “enjoy this brief time of reflection upon the true meaning of Christmas amidst the preparations for December 25.”
Organizers hope to see, but do not require, the donation of diapers and baby clothing, which will be donated to the Pregnancy Help Center of Jefferson City.
Judy Bax, St. Margaret’s Parish of Osage Bend, and Bonnie Lee, Open Heart Baptist Church of Columbia, are coordinating the program on behalf of Team PLAY and MidMissourians for Life. Participants of 40 Days for Life and LIFE Runners will also be attending.
