JEFFERSON CITY, Mo. – Former senate leadership and campaign staffer Brad Green has joined the Missouri Chamber of Commerce and Industry as the organization’s new Director of Legislative and Regulatory Affairs.

Green joins the Chamber’s legislative affairs department, striving to advocate for pro-business legislation and policy in the Capitol. He will work directly with the state’s elected officials to help ensure Chamber members are represented as proposed laws advance through the legislative process. He will focus on transportation, healthcare and regulatory affair issues.

Most recently, Green served as the legislative director for Senate President Pro Tem Tom Dempsey and as executive director for the Missouri Senate Campaign Committee during the 2014 election cycle.

“As the Executive Director for MSCC, Brad’s organizational skills and work ethic paved the way for Republican campaign success in 2014,” said former Senate Pro Tem Tom Dempsey. “As a member of my Pro Tem staff, he was a trusted advisor and a valuable member of my leadership team. He is well-respected by members of both parties in the Capitol and a great addition for the Missouri Chamber.”

Prior to these roles, Green served as chief of staff to Senator Gary Romine and Chief of Staff to Sen. Kevin Engler.

“If he can take care of me, he can do anything,” said Engler, speaking to Green’s multifaceted and efficient abilities.

Green earned a Bachelor of Arts in Economics and a Bachelor of Arts in Corporate Communications and Public Affairs from Southern Methodist University in Dallas, Texas. Green is a native of Farmington, Missouri.
