Kander Campaign Ends 2015 With Nearly $2.07M Cash On Hand After Raising $3.2 Million
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE January 13, 2016 Contact: Chris Hayden 573-326-9323 COLUMBIA, Mo. – Jason Kander today announced that he raised over $870,000 in the fourth fundraising quarter of 2015, making it the most successful of his campaign thus far. Donations of $100 and under made up 89% of contributions in the fourth quarter and 85% of all contributions made in 2015.
“Jason ended 2015 on a high note and heads into 2016 with tremendous grassroots support from Missourians who want to see a new generation of leaders in Washington,” said Chris Hayden, Kander’s communications director. “Jason’s message of putting Missouri first is clearly resonating with Missouri families that are tired of being shoved aside by the Washington special interests who have controlled Senator Blunt for too long.”
This quarter, the average donation to Kander’s campaign was $108, and a total of 10,411 donors have now contributed to the campaign. Kander finished the year with nearly $2.07 million cash on hand and has raised $3.2 million since announcing his candidacy last February.
