RE: Dr. Dan Brown Files for State Treasurer

Rolla Veterinarian Files for State Treasurer

It has been a pleasure to serve the 16th District in the Missouri Senate for the past six years.  After prayerful consideration with my wife and children, I have decided to seek the office of State Treasurer.  Conservative values are being attacked on all levels of government; the office of State Treasurer is no exception.

My team plans on waging an issue oriented campaign that outlines the difference in voting records and positions on issues that are pertinent to this race.  I will not engage in politics of personal destruction, but will instead focus on differences in philosophy and the defense of our conservative values.  This campaign will show that I am not only the only “true conservative,” in this race, but I will argue that I’m the only true Republican in this primary.

Before this campaign truly starts I would like to thank my opponent for his years of public service to the state of Missouri.  He is a great family man and I have enjoyed getting to know his wife and his small children, however, we do have differences in philosophy that will be discussed in the upcoming months.
