Release: Missouri House Candidate David Gregory Files to Run for Office in 96th District

MARCH 2, 2016, St. Louis, Missouri… David Gregory of Sunset Hills in south St. Louis County officially filed to run for 96th District State Representative on the opening day of filing for 2016 elections.

Many political leaders in Jefferson City and St. Louis County are endorsing Gregory’s youthful energy, conservative values and his robust campaign to introduce effective budgeting strategies to stop wasteful spending.

Gregory is a lifelong resident of south St. Louis County, an attorney and a successful local businessman. Republican leaders endorsing Gregory include current District 96 Representative Mike Leara; District 64 Representative Robert Cornejo; former District 95 Representative Jim Avery; and former District 1 Senator and Representative Jim Lembke, recently named Missouri Republican of the Year by the Tesson Ferry Township Republican Club.

Gregory, age 31, also is endorsed by Meramec Township Republican Committeewoman Rene Artman, who says, “David Gregory brings fresh ideas and vigor to the Republican party, which are so needed in this time of a continuing decline in its membership. He will serve us well.”

John Judd, Tesson Ferry Township Republican Committeeman, says, “David Gregory shares the values of our community and knows what it will take to bring them into the future.”

Patricia Fribis, Sunset Hills Alderman and Sunset Hills mayoral candidate, says, “David Gregory is a great asset to South County and will continue to support our community and work hard for our residents.”

“I am truly honored to gain endorsements from so many respected Republican leaders who support my plans to keep conservative values at the center of Missouri’s future,” says Gregory, who earned a degree in accounting, a Masters of Business Administration and a Juris Doctor (JD) from Saint Louis University.
“South County is a community of people whose values are rooted in faith, family and freedom. I grew up with those values and will maintain those principles in my campaign for State Representative.”

“South County residents and Republican leaders support my candidacy because I will introduce effective budgeting strategies in Jefferson City, work hard to lower taxes and reduce the size of Missouri government.”

“I am proving to the community, and to Missouri, that I have the energy and determination to engage younger voters and carry forward the traditions and values that our parents sacrificed so much to maintain.”

David Gregory lives in Sunset Hills and is vice president of the Tesson Ferry Township Republican Club.
