Release: State Representative Robert Cornejo Honored with “Missouri Police Chiefs Association Representative of the Year” Award

JEFFERSON CITY, Mo. – The Missouri Police Chiefs Association honored State Representative Robert Cornejo, R-St. Peters, for his continued support of Missouri’s law enforcement officers. Cornejo received the award during the Missouri Police Chiefs Association Monthly Business meeting where he was designated the 2015 Missouri Police Chiefs Association’s Representative of the Year.

The MPCA uses this award to recognize a Missouri State Legislator who both supports law enforcement in the pursuit of forming safer communities and is committed to improving the professionalism of Missouri’s law enforcement community. The award was given by Sheldon Lineback, the MPCA Executive Director, who said that Cornejo had “demonstrated his commitment to the citizens of Missouri by not only his words, but his actions.”

“I am proud to stand with the Missouri Police Chiefs Association and my colleagues in the legislature to back our law enforcement. We must continue to work together to provide steadfast support and reinforcement to our law enforcement community as they strive to build safer communities for citizens all across Missouri.” said Cornejo, R-St. Peters.
