JEFFERSON CITY, Mo. – Missouri Times’ publisher Scott Faughn announced the paper will begin partnering with KMOX to produce a weekly podcast, recorded live at the Capitol building on Thursdays.
The podcast, sponsored by the Missouri Farm Bureau and St. Louis Regional Chamber of Commerce, will focus on weekly activity within the Missouri legislature, endearingly categorized on social media as #moleg.
The first cast will be record Thursday morning and feature discussion of the budget and filibuster. Reps. Caleb Jones and Mike Colona will join Faughn for the episode.
“I’m very excited to take our coverage to yet another platform,” said Faughn. “KMOX is a great partner to bring more in-depth coverage to more state political observers. The #moleg podcast will be ready for listening by the time many Capitol faces make their way home after session each Thursday.”
Readers can follow the podcast by liking the Facebook page and following the production on Twitter. The podcast will be available in the iTunes store in the podcast section, KMOX.com and missouritimes.com.
