KANSAS CITY, Mo. – The anonymous LG PAC has begun airing ads attacking Republican candidate for governor Catherine Hanaway.
Previously the PAC has only attacked fellow Republican candidate John Brunner.
The new ad targets Hanaway over proposed tax cuts for a new baseball stadium.
“Catherine Hanaway and tax payer rip offs. Career politician Catherine Hanaway tried to force taxpayers to pay millions of dollars for a new baseball stadium. Hanaway for governor? Don’t think so,” the ad says.
Time for the 15 second ad has been purchased in the Kansas City and St. Louis media markets.
Speculation surrounding the PAC ties it to Republican candidate Eric Greitens. The committee’s treasurer, Hank Monsees, was photographed at a Greitens event making a phone call.
He previously told the Missouri Times he wasn’t for any one candidate but opposed to candidate, John Brunner.
