Cady to lead Americans for Prosperity – Missouri

JEFFERSON CITY, Mo. – Jeremy Cady, the longtime legislative director of the Missouri Alliance for Freedom (MAF) will be moving over to another prominent conservative advocacy group. Cady will become the new state director for Americans for Prosperity – Missouri, replacing Patrick Werner.

“I am excited about this new challenge and look forward to leading Americans for Prosperity – Missouri. My time with Missouri Alliance for Freedom gave me an incredible opportunity to fight for liberty-minded legislation and that fight continues with AFP-MO.” said Jeremy Cady. “We have accomplished a lot over the past two years. We have helped stop Medicaid expansion, protected medical privacy, advanced labor reform, and much more.”

Ryan Johnson, the director of MAF, had nothing but kind words for Cady, who he said would be a natural fit for the position. Johnson even recommended Cady for the job.

“I can think of no one better suited to help lead AFP-MO into the future. His commitment to economic freedom and a free market economy paired with his knowledge of the Missouri Legislature will ensure AFP-MO continues its legacy of effective grassroots advocacy,” Johnson said in a statement. “His passion and skill will give Americans for Prosperity great comparative advantage in accomplishing their mission.”

MAF and AFP typically occupy the same position on most issues and Cady has been a constant advocate of conservative legislation in the Capitol.

“I am thankful for the opportunity to have worked with Ryan in upholding conservative ideals in Missouri. Our work together is far from over,” Cady said. “We will continue fighting to end cronyism and removing government out of the way so working families may have the opportunity to grow and prosper.”
