TWMP: Hummel visits for Labor Day and RTW

On a special Labor Day weekend edition of This Week in Missouri Politics, host Scott Faughn welcomes House Minority Leader Jake Hummel, D-St. Louis, to discuss his likely trip to the state Senate and replacing Sen. Joe Keaveny. They also speak on the upcoming veto session and the controversial “gun bill” on the docket, the dispute over the House District 78 election between Rep. Penny Hubbard and Bruce Franks, the presidential race, and right-to-work.

The opinion maker panel features St. Louis Labor Council President Pat White, former House Speaker Steve Tilley, candidate for state representative Mark Milton and labor opponent Rep. Courtney Allen Curtis, D-St. Louis. They talk about right-to-work, the audit of the state legislature and allegations of corruption from Eric Greitens. In Overtime, they discuss Trump support in labor households and who takes the governor’s race.
