Release: PSC Sets Local Public Hearing Schedule In Ameren Missouri Electric Rate Case

 

                JEFFERSON CITY—The Missouri Public Service Commission will hold local public hearings in January in an electric rate case filed by Ameren Missouri.  The local public hearing schedule appears below.

 

January 10—Boonville.  Knights of Columbus Hall, 1515 Radio Hill Road.  The hearing starts at noon, beginning with a public information/question and answer session conducted by the PSC Staff, followed by the Commission receiving testimony from the public.

January 10—Mexico.  Audrain County VFW Post 3772, 2100 N. Jefferson St.  The hearing starts at 6:00 p.m., beginning with a public information/question and answer session conducted by the PSC Staff, followed by the Commission receiving testimony from the public.

January 11—Jefferson City.  Governor Office Building, Ballroom, Room 450, 200 Madison Street.  The hearing starts at 6:00 p.m., beginning with a public information/question and answer session conducted by the PSC Staff, followed by the Commission receiving testimony from the public.

January 17—Cape Girardeau.  Osage Centre-Room 4AB, 1625 North Kingshighway.  The hearing starts at noon, beginning with a public information/question and answer session conducted by the PSC Staff, followed by the Commission receiving testimony from the public.

January 17—Charleston.  Charleston High School, Clara Drinkwater Newman Auditorium, 606 S. Thorn St.  The hearing starts at 6:00 p.m., beginning with a public information/question and answer session conducted by the PSC Staff, followed by the Commission receiving testimony from the public.

January 18—Arnold.  Fox C-6 School District, Roy Wilde Conference Center, 849 Jeffco Blvd.  The hearing starts at 6:00 p.m., beginning with a public information/question and answer session conducted by the PSC Staff, followed by the Commission receiving testimony from the public.

January 19—St. Louis.  Harris-Stowe State University, Emerson Performance Center, 3026 Laclede.  The hearing starts at noon, beginning with a public information/question and answer session conducted by the PSC Staff, followed by the Commission receiving testimony from the public.

January 19—Union.  Union High School, Fine Arts Building, 1 Wildcat Drive.  The hearing starts at 6:00 p.m., beginning with a public information/question and answer session conducted by the PSC Staff, followed by the Commission receiving testimony from the public.

January 24—O’Fallon.  O’Fallon City Hall, Multi-Purpose Room, 100 N. Main St.  The hearing starts at noon, beginning with a public information/question and answer session conducted by the PSC Staff, followed by the Commission receiving testimony from the public.

January 24—St. Louis.  St. Louis Community College, Florissant Valley Campus, 3344 Pershall Road, CWI Building, Rooms 134/135/136.  The hearing starts at 6:00 p.m., beginning with a public information/question and answer session conducted by the PSC Staff, followed by the Commission receiving testimony from the public.

January 25—St. Louis.  Holiday Inn, St. Louis SW-Route 66, 10709 Watson Road.  The hearing starts at 6:00 p.m., beginning with a public information/question and answer session conducted by the PSC Staff, followed by the Commission receiving testimony from the public.

January 26—Kearney.  Church of the Annunciation Community Center, 705 N. Jefferson St.  The hearing starts at noon, beginning with a public information/question and answer session conducted by the PSC Staff, followed by the Commission receiving testimony from the public.

January 30—Kirksville.  Truman State University, Student Union Activities Room, 901 S. Franklin.  The hearing starts at 6:00 p.m., beginning with a public information/question and answer session conducted by the PSC Staff, followed by the Commission receiving testimony from the public.

On July 1, 2016, Ameren Missouri filed an electric rate case with the Missouri Public Service Commission seeking to increase annual electric revenues by approximately $206.4 million.  According to the filing, residential customers would pay approximately $99 more per year if the rate request is approved.  Ameren Missouri serves approximately 1.26 million electric customers in 60 Missouri counties and the City of St. Louis.
