Bates joins Hahn O’Daniel, LLC

JEFFERSON CITY, Mo. – Bradley Bates, the current director of government relations for the Missouri Association of Osteopathic Physicians and Surgeons, accepted a position to join the Hahn O’Daniel LLC lobbying firm this week. Bates will serve in both roles simultaneously, bringing to Hahn O’Daniel more than two decades of experience in healthcare and pharmaceutical advocacy.

Founding partner Jay Hahn said he and Whitney O’ Daniel, the firm’s other partner, were excited to bring Bates and his reputation, work ethic, and talents onto the staff.

“His experience in healthcare and management, as well as his knowledge of the legislative process, will be a valuable asset to each of our clients,” Hahn said.

Hahn O’Daniel formed in Jan. 2016 as a mixture of two seemingly disparate interests. Hahn, like Bates has a background in medical lobbying, serving as the director of government relations for the Missouri Optometric Association, and O’Daniel lobbies on behalf and in favor of Second Amendment issues. Bates said he was thrilled to become part of the team.

“I am excited about the opportunity to work in a growing firm with Jay and Whitney,” Bates said. “They both are highly respected in Jefferson City and I look forward to working with them to advance the legislative priorities of our clients.”
