Victory Enterprises brings home “Pollie Awards” for 2016 Digital and Mail Efforts
Davenport, IA. – National political, communications and technology firm Victory Enterprises (VE) received two prestigious Pollie Awards at the American Association of Political Consultants Awards in Huntington Beach, California.
“These awards are further proof of the banner year the Victory Enterprises team had in 2016,” CEO Brian Dumas said. “Our team is consistently delivering high quality, data-driven campaigns with effective creative and hands-on management that continue to result in victories for our clients across the country.”
VE received awards in the “Best Overall Digital Campaign” category for the successful “34 No More” digital effort to defeat Mike Gronstal, a 34-year incumbent and the Iowa Senate Majority Leader on behalf of the Republican Party of Iowa.
“In 2015, we launched our digital team to provide high-quality digital media services to our clients,” Division Director Joe Lakin said. “Receiving an award for the ‘Best Overall Digital Campaign’ category proves that our digital team is providing an unparalleled digital product for our clients that gets results.”
Lakin says the team used hard-hitting visuals, video and display advertising to highlight Gronstal’s incumbency, using the outsider political environment to help propel Dan Dawson to a major win.
VE also received a Pollie in the “Get Out The Vote Mail” category for a Missouri voter guide produced on behalf of national evangelical engagement group the American Renewal Project. The voter guides highlighted several contentious races in the state while explaining where the candidates stood on the issues.
The combined teamwork of Dave Hageman and Steve Michael helped win a silver award.
“Our formula has always been simple. We combine hard hitting messages with our commitment to technology to effectively and efficiently move the needle for our clients,” Dave Hagemen, the president of Victory Enterprises said in a statement. “These awards are further proof that our firm is thriving in the era of data and digital as we work to engage, persuade and mobilize voters for our clients, causes and candidates.”
One noteworthy thing about the awards for Victory is that they were the only Republican firm in the country to win an award for “Best Overall Digital Campaign”. Even more impressive is the fact that it was the first time that Victory had ever taken part in the process, and managed to walk away with not just one, but two awards.
Lakin says the team is already moving forward with work on several 2017 races, including some mayoral campaigns, and preparing for 2018.
