100 List out in the Missouri Times Magazine

The Missouri Times’ 100 List has established itself as a premier list of some of the most talented, well-respected and important political players in Missouri politics. This year’s addition will feature only the most talented lobbyists in the state with a corresponding list for political strategists and campaigners on its way in the coming months.

But that’s not the only change this year. The 2017 100 List will be found in full gloss in The Missouri Times Magazine.

Rachael Herndon Dunn, in her letter from the editor for the April issue of The Missouri Times Magazine, says she’s excited for this year’s edition of the list to highlight some of the best lobbyists in the business.

“Once a no-holds barred list of everyone who’s anyone, the list has now evolved to only include government relations consultants from various walks of life with a variety of different clients and causes,” she said. ” One thing has not changed between the lists: the Capitol is host to a slew of insanely hard-working and creative talent.”

The list features some top veteran lobbyists like Andy Blunt, Jane Dueker, Kyna Iman, and Rich AuBuchon as well as industry leaders like Ray McCarty of the Associated Industries of Missouri, Warren Wood and Matt Forck of Ameren, and Christine Page of Missouri American Water and issue advocates like Susan Klein of Missouri Right to Life and Sara Schuett of Missouri Association of Trial Attorneys.

The people represented in the list, Dunn says, are the best of the best.

“It only takes a trip outside of the building to make anyone who works in the building feel lucky to be surrounded by such dedication and resourcefulness, regardless of the motives behind it,” she writes. “Those, despite age or any other identifying factor, who truly understand the heartbeat of policy quickly rise to the top, gaining respect from even the most grizzled veteran.”

The 100 List and the rest of the Missouri Times Magazine is now available in print in Jefferson City and online.
