JEFFERSON CITY, Mo. – U.S. Senator Claire McCaskill is hitting the road over the 4th of July week, making a 10-stop-tour across mid-Missouri.
The Democrat is making five stops a day on Wednesday and Thursday, hosting town halls in which supporters and opponents can both hear from the Senator.
McCaskill has not shied away from the open forum events, especially with re-election in the not-so-far future. The Democrat is gearing up for the 2018 election, which is expected to be a hotly-contested race, even though no official contenders have yet to announce as the Republican challenger.
