Layman named Finance Chairman for Missouri Republican Party

JEFFERSON CITY, Mo. – The Missouri Republican Party has appointed Jeff Layman as the next Finance Chairman. The appointment by Chairman Todd Graves was confirmed this week by the Party’s State Committee.

Layman comes to the role after serving as the State Finance Chairman for Governor Eric Greitens during the 2016 election and continues assisting in that role. He’s been a longtime political volunteer and worked to further the conservative agenda in the Show-Me State. He currently lives in Springfield with his wife, Amy, and two children.

“I am pleased to announce Jeff Layman as the Party’s Finance Chairman, and I look forward to working with him as we grow conservative support across the state,” Todd Graves, Chairman of the Missouri Republican Party, said.  “Jeff and I have been friends for over 25 years, and he’s proven to be a hard worker who gets results.  With Jeff’s leadership, we will continue to propel the Missouri Republican Party into a national model.”

“I look forward to pushing our conservative message of more jobs, higher pay, safer streets and better schools for all Missourians,” Layman said.  “We will continue to support the Governor and our statewide Republicans while working hard to replace Senator McCaskill with a conservative who will actually fight for the people of Missouri.”

And they’re looking to get an early start on doing just that, as the Missouri GOP is pulling out the big guns in July for a special reception with a considerable price tag.

The party is sending out flyers inviting people to join Governor Eric Greitens, along with Lt. Gov. Mike Parson, Secretary Jay Ashcroft, Treasurer Eric Schmitt, Attorney General Josh Hawley and Congressman Billy Long at a special reception in support of the Missouri Republican Party on Thursday, July 20 in Springfield at a private home.

There are two reception options open at different prices: a general reception running $500 per couple and a private reception with a $2,500 price tag.
