SPRINGFIELD, Mo. – Conservative businessman Caleb Arthur announced his campaign to become the 30th District State Senator.
Arthur was born and raised in Southwest Missouri. When he was younger, Arthur served as a police officer for five years and was injured in the line of duty during a raid on a meth lab. Instead of being a victim or complaining about his injury, Arthur decided that it was time to be an entrepreneur and looked to the tech sector for encouragement. Arthur promoted his new company and its products for years, ultimately growing it to become the second fastest growing company in Missouri and the ninth fastest energy company in the nation. Now, he employs more than 120 people with offices all across the Midwest. The company headquarters are in Springfield.
“I have lived in Missouri all of my life,” Arthur said. “I have built businesses and employed people all across Missouri. But I chose Springfield to raise my family and build the headquarters of my company. I love what Southwest Missouri has to offer and the people that reside here. That is why I am running for State Senate. I want nothing more than to represent the area I love, help the schools that will educate my children, invest in the police and public safety that keep my family safe, and rebuild the infrastructure that my family use every day.
“I am tired of politicians trying to manage and regulate things they know nothing about. It is time Springfield elects someone who embraces freedom, understands innovation, and will fight to make government work better for less money. I have the right experiences to get the job done.”
Arthur is an NRA member, a lifelong member of Gun Owners of America, and an avid sportsman. He is devoutly pro-life, volunteering his time at the Springfield pregnancy care centers. Arthur also has a passion for preaching at church and assisting local food banks and is a member of the NFIB and the Springfield, Ozark, Nixa and Republic Area Chambers of Commerce.
Arthur lives in Springfield with his wife, Rachel, and their four young children, Deacon, Delaney, Eden, and Ezra.
The 30th District is an open seat located in Springfield once held by now-termed Sen. Bob Dixon.
