Coleman announces candidacy for HD32 to replace Lauer

  

GRAIN VALLEY, Mo. – Grain Valley alderman, school board member, and community leader Jeff Coleman has announced his candidacy to replace termed state Rep. Jeanie Lauer. Coleman, a Republican, has served as a retirement and wealth preservation specialist for over 30 years.

After graduating from Oak Grove High School, he left Missouri to study at Graceland University and to begin his career in finance.  In 2005, he returned to his home state to raise his family and continue his career in the investment industry.

As a small business owner, Coleman is passionate about ensuring his clients are well prepared for retirement.  Those who know Coleman say his attention to detail and passion for developing lasting relationships will serve him well when representing the citizens of House District 32.

Coleman resides in Grain Valley with his wife, Debbie. They have seven children, three who attend school in the Grain Valley School District.

Additionally, Coleman is very active in his local community. Currently, he serves as Mayor Pro-Tem on the Grain Valley Board of Alderman and is the President of both the Grain Valley Economic Development Corporation and the Grain Valley Industrial Development Committee.  He also currently serves as the Vice-President of the Grain Valley School Board, a position he has served in for seven years.   He was the past President of the Grain Valley Chamber of Commerce.

Coleman is committed to protecting the sanctity of life and is an active member of the Community of Christ Church.  He is also a proud member of the NRA and is a self-proclaimed avid hunter who will preserve the 2nd Amendment. Due to his work with the Grain Valley School Board, he is also determined to provide a high-quality education to young Missourians.

In his downtime, Coleman enjoys cheering on the Chiefs and Royals in addition to spending time outdoors with his family and friends.
