JEFFERSON CITY – Anne Marie Moy of Kirkwood, Mo., will join the Department of Revenue (DOR) as its new Director of Strategy and Communications on October 10, 2017.
In this leadership role, Moy will be part of the Department’s senior leadership team playing a lead role in setting strategic direction and leading external and internal communications.
Moy is a veteran communications and public affairs professional with more than 20 years of combined government, corporate, agency and consulting experience who has served on the front lines of some of the most high-profile issues campaigns in the state of Missouri.
Before joining DOR, Moy served as communications director for the Missouri Senate, where she led a department of ten, providing a full suite of communications services designed to support the Senate as a whole, as well as all 34 individual Senators, effectively making the Senate and the work that is done there more accessible to all Missourians. Prior to that, Moy served as communications director for a wide range of political and issues-oriented initiatives including: Better Together, Grow Missouri, Fair Trade Missouri, Proposition “A,” and the YES for Schools First Coalition.
Throughout her career, Anne Marie has routinely provided senior-level, strategic communications counsel for a variety of clients including the Children’s Education Alliance of Missouri (CEAM), the Open Space Council for the St. Louis Region, Carrollton Bank, The Home Depot, Energizer Max brands, Transentric – a wholly owned subsidiary of Union Pacific, King Safety Products and Medicine Shoppe Pharmacies, to name a few.

A native of Jacksonville, Ill., Anne Marie earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Journalism from the University of Mississippi. She resides in Kirkwood, Mo., and enjoys playing tennis and horseback riding.
