RELEASE: Pro-Lifers Win in Court Again in Missouri

The Following Statement is from Steve Rupp, MRL President:

Pro-Life Missourians praise U.S. District Judge Beth Phillips’ ruling to deny Planned Parenthood’s request for a temporary restraining order on a provision of SB 5 requiring that a “medication [chemical] abortion complication plan” be filed with the Missouri Department of Health and Senior Services. This requirement is a simple common sense health and safety plan.

Continue to pray for MRL as we work to save babies and protect women from the deceptions of the abortion industry by working to pass pro-life legislation. And pray for our Attorney General Josh Hawley and his team as they defend our pro-life laws passed by the pro-life majorities in our Missouri House and Senate.

Our many thanks and gratitude to Governor Eric Greitens for his call of the Special Session this past summer to pass the important provisions found in SB 5!

All provisions of SB 5 stand in full force in our Missouri statutes.
