RELEASE: Missouri Century Foundation Commends Rep. Rehder’s Leadership on Labor Reform 

  

Rehder Recognized as Foundation’s 2017 Legislator of the Year

            ST. LOUIS – The Missouri Century Foundation honored State Rep. Holly Rehder (R-148) with the foundation’s Missouri Centurion Award.

“Rep. Holly Rehder is a tireless advocate for labor reform in the Missouri legislature.  Rep. Rehder understands the importance of delivering worker freedom and ensuring all Missouri workers are given the choice to decide if they want to financially support a union as a condition of employment.  We will continue to fight alongside members like Rep. Rehder in defending Right-to-Work,” said Gregg Keller, chairman of Missouri Century Foundation.

The Missouri Centurion Award honors a legislator or legislators who have proven their commitment to advancing forward-looking policies that help ensure the long-term health of Missouri’s economy for all Missourians and the generations to come.

Rep. Rehder is the 2017 recipient of the foundation’s legislator of the year award.  Rehder is an instrumental voice and advocate on key labor reform issues like Right-to-Work.  As chairman of the House Economic Development Committee, Rehder presided over hearings on public labor reform, Right-to-Work, and other major labor issues, helping to ensure their progress through the legislature.

The Missouri Century Foundation advocates for strong free market principles to build a strong foundation to improve the livelihoods of Missourians, while holding state leaders accountable for their actions.  The foundation is focused on protecting Missourians’ First Amendment rights to assemble and associate, greater transparency at Missouri’s public colleges and universities, reforming government unions for workers, and protecting taxpayers and workers from a brewing pension crisis.
