Axiom Strategies acquires High Cotton Consulting

D.C.-based fundraising firm merges with Axiom Strategies

(Kansas City/Washington, DC): Axiom Strategies, the largest Republican political consulting firm in the country, announced a completed acquisition of High Cotton Consulting, a D.C.-based fundraising firm. As part of the merger, Alexandra Kendrick and her fundraising staff joined Axiom’s D.C. office.

“I’m very proud that High Cotton has become part of the Axiom family,” said Alexandra Kendrick, High Cotton’s founder. “Axiom Strategies’ reputation for leading winning campaigns through innovative ideas and outworking the competition speaks for itself. I’m excited to add fundraising to the suite of services Axiom offers clients.”

“We are thrilled to have High Cotton as part of the team,” said Jeff Roe, Axiom’s founder and CEO. “Alexandra is one of the most effective fundraisers in the country, and her talent for fundraising and her work ethic are unrivaled assets to clients.”

With the addition of High Cotton, Axiom Strategies becomes one of the only political consulting firms in the country to have a fundraising firm in-house. The announcement of Axiom’s acquisition of High Cotton comes on the heels of the introduction of Axiom’s Direct Voter Contact division and the formation of AxMedia, Axiom’s media buying firm. Axiom has also recently announced the acquisition of Cannon Research Group, a research firm, and Revolvis, a full-scale political consulting firm with a strong West Coast presence. With the addition of Cannon Research Group and Revolvis, Axiom Strategies now has offices in San Diego, San Francisco, Sacramento, and Seattle, as well as offices in Kansas City, Houston, Austin, Columbus, Annapolis, and Washington D.C.

High Cotton creates a system for each client that stresses urgency and encourages follow up. We have support staff to ensure the job is finished every time–no exceptions. Fundraising is not hard, but it is time-consuming and very detailed.

High Cotton Consulting handles every aspect of fundraising from developing a prospect list to creating and tracking call lists. We manage donor data, track RSVPs, follow up on pledges, collect checks and handle thank you notes. Every
detail of your event is covered–from the invitations to staffing, booking, and nametags.

Most importantly, we make calls too. We call and follow up with each lead for a fundraising event, from the top donors all the way down the list. Our focus is bringing money in the door.

About Alexandra Kendrick:
Alexandra Kendrick was raised in Richmond Hill, a small Southern town on the coast of Georgia. She became involved in politics at an early age through her mother’s political volunteer efforts.

Prior to moving to Washington D.C., Alexandra worked in real estate for almost a decade. During this time, she served as Chairwoman for the Chatham County Young Republicans and as National Committee Woman for the National Young Republicans from the State of Georgia.

While volunteering on the 2004 and 2006 campaigns for Congressman Max Burns, Alexandra became involved with Congressman Jack Kingston’s campaign efforts and was offered a position in Congressman Kingston’s congressional office in 2008. In 2010, Alexandra took over Kingston’s fundraising efforts.

In January of 2014, Kingston decided to run for the open Senate seat of retiring Georgia Senator Saxby Chambliss. Axiom Strategies served as the General Consulting firm and Alexandra was named Finance Director for the campaign. Under her leadership, the Kingston for Senate finance team led the field every quarter, raising a total of $7,500,000 for the cycle.

After Kingston lost a competitive primary runoff in July of 2014, Alexandra formed High Cotton Consulting, a firm which specializes in fundraising for Republican candidates. It quickly grew to become one of the top 10 of firms based in Washington, D.C. In 2017 it became aligned with Axiom Strategies.

While a southern girl at heart, Alexandra loves Washington, D.C. and is lucky to call both it and Georgia home.
