Matt Sain files for State Representative in the 14th District

On the first day possible, Democrat Matt Sain traveled from Kansas City to Jefferson City to file for State Representative in the 14th District located in Platte & Clay County. As a 2018 graduate from the University of Missouri-Kansas City School of Law, Matt and his young family are excited to bring new ideas and a fresh perspective to a gridlocked Jefferson City focused on a regressive agenda.

“Growing up, both of my parents were pastors while my father also served in the United States Air Force so my commitment to serve stems from my upbringing. The recent events in Jefferson City have shown what happens when our state government is focused on a regressive agenda rather than working families. I am excited to begin this campaign to get Jefferson City back to working on the issues facing working families and the middle class.”

Matt’s campaign is focused on running a strong grassroots campaign, focused on fully funding the foundation formula for K-12 public school systems, protecting our unions, and advocating for Medicaid expansion in Missouri. Matt will be holding a campaign kickoff event on Thursday, March 22nd from 6 pm to 8 pm at the Eagles Nest Clubhouse located at 3502 NW Platte Brooke Drive. Donations can be made payable to Sain for Missouri.
