Firefighters endorse Dan Wibracht for Missouri House

BRIDGETON, MO – The Professional Firefighters of Eastern Missouri, Local 2665 have endorsed Dan Wibracht for Missouri House District 72.
“Firefighters and first responders put their well-being in danger to order to protect the safety, security and health of our loved ones and our neighborhoods,” said Wibracht. “Their work is heroic and we each owe them thanks. I am honored the Professional Firefighters of Eastern Missouri, Local 2665 has endorsed my campaign for State Representative.”
“Missourians know they can count on firefighters when harm seeks them out, and firefighters know we can count on Dan Wibracht to fight for us in the state capitol,” said Jennifer Stuhlman, Political Director for Professional Firefighters of Eastern Missouri, Local 2665.
Dan Wibracht is a 2004 graduate of Hazelwood West High School and attended Florissant Valley Community College.  He completed his Plumbers and Pipefitters apprenticeship training with Local 562 and is now a Journeyman Plumber.
The Professional Firefighters of Eastern Missouri choose their endorsed candidates in regard to how the individual stands on fire fighter and labor issues such as collective bargaining rights, protection of fair labor standards and overtime rights, pay fairness and funding for first responder initiatives, to name a few.
Local 2665 is the sole representative for the counties of St. Louis, Jefferson, Franklin, St. Charles, St. Genevieve, Lincoln, Warren, and Crawford, Missouri. With nearly 1,800 members and still growing, Local 2665 is the largest Local in the states of Missouri, Kansas, Iowa, and Nebraska.
In addition to being a Democratic candidate in the 72nd District, Wibracht has been elected President of The Airport Township Democratic Club and serves on the Streets Commission of the City of Bridgeton.
