McCaskill campaign surpasses 128,000 donors with an average contribution of $70 in Q1 2018

Growing Coalition of Supporters Donates More than $3.9 Million in Q1 2018
MISSOURI — The grassroots momentum behind U.S. Senator Claire McCaskill’s campaign continued to grow during the first quarter of 2018, surpassing 128,000 total donors and shattering Missouri fundraising records with over $3.9 million raised and an average contribution of $70 in Q1 2018. Half of Q1 donors had never given to Claire before.

“Hard-working Missourians have made clear that they value Claire’s ability to break through the partisan gridlock in Washington and get things done for them,” said McCaskill for Missouri Communications Director Meira Bernstein. “The incredible grassroots momentum behind Claire’s campaign is proof that Missourians know Claire is a Senator who will always put them first.”

Of the contributions Claire received in the first quarter of 2018, nearly 87 percent were less than $100.

In 2017, McCaskill received support from over 107,000 donors with an average contribution of $64, including almost 90,000 donors who had not previously given to her before.

McCaskill‘s campaign finished the quarter with over $11.5 million cash-on-hand.
